This blog is about our lives in Aix en Provence, France. Some of it is about church planting, some of it is about kids, but mostly it's just life as it happens here.

This made me laugh...
2 Questions... 1) Why would French people want to buy used American license plates? 2) There is no Target in France-what's up with the Barbies? (and if they can get the Barbies here from Target, how about some other good stuff, too??)

Ahhh, look at that! Oregon, right there on top! (But, yes, why for sale in Europe?)
Glad you are settling back into life in France. Hope you had a great time in the states...I thought of your family a few times this summer after our brief exchange. I even recognized one of your girls in Jen's pictures of Maisie from staff conference. Funny thing this blogging world...recognizing familiar faces of people you have never met!
Best of luck with the costume party and the plastic flowers! :)
Well, I don't quite get the second question (probably because I'm not American, so fair enough). And I think that the answer to the first one is: because they think they look cool.

We sold a bunch of old USA license plates on e-bay here in france. At 10-20 euros a plate, we had ourselves a nice lunch out!
