Beurre

So we are sitting at dinner night before last and the girls are talking and eating and Lexi says, "mom, can you please pass the beurre?" "what?" I asked her? "mom, (said with an exasperated sigh!) the beurre!" Then she said..."MOM, HOW DO YOU SAY BEURRE IN ENGLISH?" ARGHHHHHHH...what is happening here??? My children are becoming little Frenchies right before my very eyes.
