thought I would post some photos today of Easter weekend. ICCP had their annual egg hunt and picnic on Saturday, April 7th, and it was a beautiful day. Thank you so much to Julie, Fauna and ACF for the amazing care packages with hundreds of eggs and bags of candy! It was such an blessing to a whole lot of kids!!! The pictures (i'll post better ones when my friends pat and lindsey put theirs up!) are of the picnic, the kids choir singing at the nursing home and visiting with the residents, easter morning choir practice, and the Easter monday church hike up Mt. St. Victoire. I use the word "hike" loosely, as for me it was a strenuous climb. I had to keep singing the smokey and the bandit song in my head the whole time-"we've got a long way to go and a short time to get there, we're gonna do what they say can't be done!" Needless to say I was l..a..s..t.. in line by a long shot, scowled most of the time (don't laugh mom!!) and my muscles are still screaming. most of my scratches have healed, which is nice, and my bruises are easily covered! It feels great to say I did it.
