Back in France

Well, well, well. Here we are again...back in France. HMMMMM
I am having to come to grips with a few things here, none of them all that pleasant. Number one, I am spoiled. Number two, I like it that way! Number three, my attitude is, often, not "super" (said with a sarcastic French accent!) But on the upside, Teal and I had some encouraging talks with people in Austin, and know more than ever that we are all living in a spiritual war zone. Now I really liked my nice comfy life in Austin, and even though life is REALLY different, it's pretty good here too. I like to be comfortable and cozy, well fed, and entertained. But now I stop to think-wait a minute...is this what life is like in a WAR ZONE??? No!!!!! God did not put us here to life comfortably while others suffer and are being condemned to the depths of hell. The more I talk with people, read, pray and learn, the more convicted I feel that we all need to be on the front lines of this battle. That won't look the same for everyone-there are many parts to one body, and all are vital to health. I do believe that it's really easy to get complacent and really comfortable,and forget our purpose here on earth, that we are to live for Christ alone.

Isn't it great to know that in this war, we know Who wins, we know beyond a doubt Who will claim the victory. but until then, it's our job to fight.

1 Timothy 6:12
12Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses

Romans 14:11
11It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord,
'every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will confess to God

I love the new French accent! You make me smile Megan - always putting things so succinctly. God is using you and your life to speak into other lives. You Go Girl!

Missing and Loving you,
