Unintentional Blogging Break

Basically, our lives are so not exciting right now that there isn't much to write about. Very sad. It's not that we don't have a lot going on right now, because we do. I often think no one other than us is interested in our stuff. But in the interest of maintaining this blog, I'll tell you what we've been up to. I'll start with Christmas eve. We went to our sweet friends home for dinner and had a lovely time. Olivia spent Christmas day barfing. That was not so lovely.

But the webkinz and American girl doll clothes and lipgloss made it better. For the children at least.

We watched many movies and stayed in our pj's all day, which turned out to be a very good thing. The next day we went to the Andersons and watched movies, ate leftovers, and Lexi learned how to shoot a gun. If that doesn't scare the pants off of you, not much will. Then we stayed home for a few days, had a few families over for dinner and just relaxed. New year's eve, we had a sleepover with the andersons and pat and lindsey, watched more movies, ate a lot and played a lot of Wii.

We continue to build our relationships with several French families, and we are starting an additional French class next week. We are really starting to embarrass the children with our very American sounding French accents, so we have to step up the game.

At the end of the month we are starting a new Bible Study, and we are really excited about it! It's from our home church ACF and is called Give Stress a Rest. Which will be great, because there is nothing like living in a foreign country with a moldy wall to give you stress.

Well, there's more to tell, but Lexi just came in and said she thinks she's going to throw up. So I should probably go. NOW!

Hey Megan. Beautiful pics! You all look so healthy and happy! Yes, Lexi and a gun might not be the best mixture. Will reminded us again today about you all and your work in France. You're a big ole honkin' light! Take joy in the boring days! Love you! Julie L
